Got a new guy, looks to be related to this deer from my other thread:

first deer (14 pt)

last week's deer (13 pt)

could be - I thought the spot on the underside of the main beam was just a knob where a drop tine could have started. I HOPE he didn't lose the drop tine!

some differences:

left side of one deer is thicker than the other:

also the last two points on right side are spaced differently on each deer:

maybe?

I say its the same buck. If you look close there is a nub right where that drop tine should be.

Thats what I was looking at, and the triple brow looks to be pretty much identical. Either way its a great deer.

No doubt in my mind it is the same deer. Even though there is a slight difference in a couple areas it is mainly because he was still in the development stage in the velvet pics. Once the velvet comes off some features become more noticeable but he is the same buck in both pics for sure. Droptines can easily be broken off while in soft velvet stage.

Great Buck! I think its the same one though. He unfournately broke off his droptine....

Same deer. Antler rotation is messing with you. Palmation appears to vanish on the pic that is rotated back.

Antlers can look a lot different at different angles.

The possibilities that these are the same deer are almost overwhelming; the cincher that they are the same deer is that left three-pointed brow tine. The odds of two deer having a similar overall appearance and that same exact brow tine would have to be astronomical.

Just what I see. You'll have to kill "both" of them and show them side by side to prove otherwise. LOL :D

Very nice deer. Good luck!
