Weeks ago I had an old shoulder injury flare up to the point I couldn't hold steady at even twenty yards. The pain just would not go away and the inflammation was bad. Finally today I thought I would give it a try with just a few shots at 20. I was stacking them right where I wanted at 20 but after 16 shots I was done.

Shoulder is weak but I am still on if I shoot daily I will decide next week if it is compound or crossbow for opening weekend. hoping for the compound but that isn't much time to rehab.

sorry to hear bout your shoulder!! Hope it heals nicely....16 shots is good for just coming back, but only need 1 on opening day :) ah haaaa

Take 6 - 10 good quality (form) shots each evening, good to go opening morning. Build confidence with solid form and practice with a purpose. It's not a stamina contest.

Thanks guys I could turn it down some but I think I will leave it and just rehab the shoulder. If all else fails i will break out the dreaded crossbow until it gets better.

If you have a crossbow I would dig it on out... reinjury would just multiply recovery time... not to mention hurt.
