we heard a couple of birds gobbling on the roost a looooong ways off. they kept gobbling when they hit the ground but sounded like they were going the other way. i let out a few LOUD yelps and they just seemed to go about their business. sitting and talking about what to do next, the next time they gobble, they are about 200 yds. we get set back up and he interrupts my next set of yelps.next gobble is under 100 yds. next is just out of sight and the next one likes to blow our hats off. he comes in to our right in front of the boy who is waiting for the 2nd bird to show himself so maybe we can double up. wellll, he sees something he don't like and starts to turn to walk away so i tell the boy to shoot. he did AND MISSED!!!!! :cry:
