Ok, I posted this question over on Archery Talk and got a few responses but I'm going to post it here too.
Even though it's a long time before deer season I'd like to try and figure out which broadhead I'd like to use. I already know it'll be a Magnus but I don't know if I'd like to go with the 2 blade Magnus or the 3 blade Snuffer. Both would be 100grs and as far as price goes I can get about twice as many of the 2 blades for the same cost as the 3 blades. In the past I've used the Snuffers(125gr with my recurve) but never was lucky enough to take a shot at a deer with one so I've got no personal experience.
I do like the idea of the 3 blade opening up a hole where as the 2 blade only opens up a slit so the blood trail might not be as much. I have read about people getting good results with the 2 blade though so I just wanted to get ya'll thoughts on which and why. Talk to ya'll later and thanks.

I do not like a flat blade. If the tip gets bent any on impact from hitting rib or other bone it could turn easier. Being flat seems to me on angling shots it will deflect easier. With the 3 blade you do not have the flat wing effect and the blades can hold the arrow on a straighter entry and hopefully exit. A buddy of mine lost 4 deer this year with the flat blades. He did recover 2 and neither had a exit.

I'm kind of leanin' toward the Snuffer SS 100gr broadheads. That 3 blade style is easy to sharpen and like I said, it'll cut a hole that'll bleed better then a slit from a 2 blade.
I may just pick up some 2 blades for coyotes and ground hogs, you know, smaller stuff and then use the 3 blade on deer, hogs and larger game.

I used the magnus stingers with the bleeders on last season. Thew flew great and good blood trails. I watched two I shot run 20 to 30 yds and flop over.

Ok, I know I said I'd have to get Magnus but I'm sure ya'll seen the great deal on the Muzzy 3 Blade broadheads here on the forum. Think if I can come up with the cash that might be a good way to go.
