So if you didn't hear the story on Spoons earlier post here it goes again .He saw this bird strutting in the field next to my house . he called me and told me as hes telling me ,Im outside so I strolled to the top of the hill to have a look see and Bam!!! there he was , I hadn't planned on hunting today,don't hunt as much on weekends ,but soon as I saw him puffed up strutting around I dropped everything and ran .It wasn't as easy as it sounded I stalked him for over two hours, crawling through mudholes ,briers and fireants .finally had to abort the stalk and try and out flank him .Got around in front of him and stayed patient till him and his girls walked by .almost didn't happen due to a nosey hen who almost walked on top of me .but ended up a twenty five yard shot .Couldn't have asked for a better shot .21 pounds 7/8 spurs and 11 inch beard
