Went with my good luck charm TNReb. Had 2 Toms fly down early and due to my set up lost sight of them while I was watching 4 other Toms. Crested the hill 60yds out and shot him at 12 yds. Was a quick and fun hunt for sure. Had some SOLID hooks on him as well.

Yep... my ol' buddy REN invited me to his place.

"Alright... one of us can sit here.. and the other will go about 200 yards down that way. You sit here... I'll go down there".

An hour later, BOOM! I'm sitting 200 yards from the closest bird and REN drops one. What are friends for, huh? :D

Then we went over to another property I have permission to hunt. We sat down and I figure I should let REN call so I have somebody to blame if things go south. We got a bird gobbling back at us quickly. Didn't sound like a jake. Took the bird about 10 minutes to close the distance. He popped over the hill about 40 yards out and it was a jake. Oh well! I guess I'll keep eating ramen noodles instead of turkey.

I put you within 5ft of a raccoon geez, a lot of thanks I get for that.
 
Congrats guys! At least 2 or 3 birds didn't come in, then tnreb would really have hurt feelings!

There were 8 longboards in the field!!! All I could do was watch. From far, far away.
