I was drawn for the Wolf River WMA hunt this weekend. Yesterday didn't go well only hearing 1 bird a LONG way off followed by the only gunshot heard. This morning I had to go to a spot that I haven't been due to someone else beating me to the spot I like. The morning started with a few distant gobbles then a few closer but still a good way off. I heard a guy shoot at 6:30 then again about 30 minutes later he unloaded 4 rounds. 
I went to another spot, parked my truck at 9:00 and walked back along the river and found 1 of the prettiest clover fields I've ever seen. While looking for a tree to set by, a hen entered the end of the field. I squated on my knees in the brush and watched as another hen and then the gobbler came out. He never gobbled but I watched him strut about 60 yards towards me. The hens had gotten to about 15 yards when I popped him at 30. The time was now 9:15. :grin:
