I couldn't get this one or the other 3 to come to a call, so I busted the bunch up and waited alittle while. I sat up in a different spot and just waited for them to make a move. Sure enough he come out down the field from me strutting his stuff. I knew they were heading to a dusting area in a little woods lot, so I waited till they were out of sight and the stalk was on. I have shot a few in this same area, if I can get him on one side of the small dozer pile on the point and me on the other, I'm in business. He was strutting and occasionally he would try to peep over the low spots on that dozer pile. I worked my way within 50 yards and a hen spotted me, she took off running with another one, but they didn't putt, So he just kept strutting. I eased up behind a big oak, to about 30 yards and just waited for him to come out, he did, came out of strut,BOOOM. Game over. 22 lbs, 8.1/2" beard and 1" spurs.
