I'm hard headed but I catch on. After covering 25 miles walking the first 3 days I decided since they had thinned out pines that they were too open to move around. I went to a spot I had several earlier in the year. I see a couple lone hens right off but still no gobbling at all. I spot a lone gobbler walking thru the pines at about 300 yards. I hit him with mouth a call and no reaction. I do it again and he just keeps walking. I grab the Turpin box and Yelp to him loud and I instantly lose sight of him. I thought well he's gone. 5 minutes later I see seed head pop up behind a pile of dirt. When comes around the pike I shoot him. I guess he liked the box. He didn't strut or gobble any. He just walked to me. Weird year.

Very cool. I couldn't remember who I bought it from. It kills about 1 a year. Should be 2 this year but my wife had her gun the wrong way. Thanks.
Sounds dangerous.[emoji12]
Congrats.
