If you have a mossberg I can offer some advice in case no one lives near you. I have the 22inch youth model barrel in mossberg and have shot 3 different tubes primos tightwad, undertaker,and the tru glo ssx. I just got the Tru glo recently and shot it. By far it throws the best pattern with any shell i put in the gun. I shot winchester double x 5 shot, Remington nitros 5 shot, Federal copper plated 6 shot with flight control and federal heavy weight number 7. I would hunt with any of those shells and feel good about the results. The most on the paper was the federal heavy weight 7. The best pure lead pattern was the winchester double x. I understand what you are saying as I bought the tubes and shells when I got the gun last year for my son that is why I have all those shell brands. I hope this helps.
