This is when I'm happy at 20 yards, otherwise I need to work harder

Thanks for posting, helps me set a more definite goal. I'm shooting at 20 and 10 yards right now for practice and consistency is the toughest part. This is my first year shooting a compound and I only started practicing more often a couple weeks ago.

I shot a bow for the first time in January 2009. Practice and research plus sage advice you will be stacking thwm tight

Nice .I like it like that when I can pull all of them out of the target with one hand . :) I have been shooting a different dots lately . Breaking too many nocks and arrows out to 30 .

That is a nice group, I try and pick different kill shots and angles so I don't break any arrows, those things aint cheap.

Along with what Bow Hunter said , my favorite form of practice is to shoot single arrows at various angles and unknown distances . The first shot is the only one that counts when hunting . Not many deer will stand around long enough for a second chance and there are no warm up shots .
Randy Ulmer had a great article on one arrow groups for hunting practice . I'll have to find a link .

Randy Ulmer's brother Rusty is coming out with a broadhead that will hit the market next year. It is going to give Rage a run for its money. It is a rear deploying two blade with a Trocar tip. Should be nice. There are pics over on AT.

I'm there with you. Robin Hoods are cool the first couple of times, but just get expensive after that!

Nice group... Next time, instead if grouping them, try picking different aiming points. It makes it tougher(imo). Right now I'm working on hitting nickle sized targets@30 yards!

I've done it before but I need to put some white golf tees into a layered target. They make an excellent small aiming point.

You keep shooting that many arrows at 20 yards, you will be dipping into your savings account.

Great idea with the golf tees... I'll have to try that one
