Radar said:Along with what Bow Hunter said , my favorite form of practice is to shoot single arrows at various angles and unknown distances . The first shot is the only one that counts when hunting . Not many deer will stand around long enough for a second chance and there are no warm up shots .
Randy Ulmer had a great article on one arrow groups for hunting practice . I'll have to find a link .

I've done it before but I need to put some white golf tees into a layered target. They make an excellent small aiming point.
