20 years of hunting down south

In twenty years of chasing southern turkeys early I've never seen everything so far behind in terms of blooming and greening up. The dang cherries are still in bloom which is crazy.

Birds are happy though which has been bad news for them and their health.

I like late springs my self. Makes it harder for the posers and wanna-he's the first week or so when they are all out.

This looks to be shaping up to be a great year here. My allergies dont think so but the turkey will make up for it.

May apples aren't up yet which is really weird for late march.

I like hunting better before the green up. I can hear and see more than when everything is green

i like it better when it the green really starts to green up. Bout Tax day is perfect for me

I was I'm in Georgia for the moment, although if the trend continues I will be done this afternoon

I guess Texas kinda qualifies as south(west-ish) but it's the same here right now. Late spring, turkeys still cooperating, but then again...Rios ain't Easterns. Rios are easy.
