2011 Bowtech Invasion!!

Just got back from the ATA show in Indianapolis. Had a chance to shoot the new Bowtech Invasion. Looks a lot like the Destroyer but with split limbs and 4 IBO feet faster. Absolutely dead in your hand and seemed a bit quieter and easier to draw than the Destroyer. They've been manufacturing this bow for a couple of months, so we should see the first shipment in the next week to 10 days.
 
$850-$975 would be my guess. No thanks. I'm a Bowtech fan.....or was. I'm more of a Kevin Strother fan really. The Allegiance is the best bow Bowtech ever made.

I agree... between that one and the Guardian those were the best (2) I have seen from Bowtech! For the "Hunter". IMO
 
Any plans to carry Elite bows in the future? Seems like the new 2011 Pure is getting a ton of good buzz on ArcheryTalk. There aren't any dealers around within an hour of here.

I'm a Kevin Strother fan myself. Was looking forward to the K&K bow line but they've taken a lot of orders for bows they haven't started machining yet and there aren't any dealers that I know of.

Seems like I heard they were gonna make 1500 bows the first year. And all the people pretty much sent the money within the first few weeks of hearing about him starting over. I still haven't seen a drawing of it yet.
 
It took the Destroyer's $899 MAP price. The Destroyer's MAP price is now $799. We are supposed to get our first shipment late next week. Will let everyone know when we have them in hand.
 
Nice to meet you today Jeremy!! I will order that bowstring material tomorrow or Monday. That Destroyer sure looked nice.
 
Same to ya Hoss! Got word yesterday that the Invasions shipped late yesterday afternoon so we should see them on Friday of next week. They send them by carrier pidgeons so it takes about a week to make the cross country trip :)

seems like that fella don't like to sit still for long. he starts making new bows before I get to shoot the ones he has.

I never got to shoot a guardian, but I did own it's big brother the commander. great target bow. I also liked the general, however it suffered from cam lean. bowtech said what I was calling cam lean was normal, but I never could agree.
