2013 Mathews Line is Out

The one they are calling the Creed stuck out to me because it has a similar cam shape to the Jewel. I said from the get go that the Jewel was/is the smoothest drawing single cam bow I've ever drawn and shot. But the Jewel name and girly colors made it go un-noticed by a majority of shooters. If people would have put a blind fold on and shot it not knowing what it was...I would bet my paycheck that just about everybody would have loved its draw cycle over the other Mathews bows. So back to the Creed...if it draws anything like the Jewel's cam does...that might be a decently popular solocam bow for them.

Other than that...makes me wonder if they are saving some stuff for the Big Show and this run was just to wet people's appetite a bit. They keep going shorter and shorter with these bows. I'm like you thought UT...sticking with what I got. Even if it is still fun to look. Looking is the free part.

The Creed looks like a single cam Monster.

I'm hearing the Creed has a larger idler wheel to make it smoother?

I shot the Helium and didn't care for it. I will shoot the Creed to see what the deal is.

i been waiting for the 2013 mathews to come out since september. i am in the market for another bow but didnt want to buy until i saw what they was bringing . the 2013 mathews are a let down to me. if i go ahead and buy new it is now between the bowtech insanity cpxl ,bowtech specialist, bear anarchy,or maybe the mathews mr8.

Seeing some more reviews come in on the Creed and watched some videos. I definitely want to shoot it.

I didn't care for the Helium but some people love it.

I might love the Creed while others might not care for it.

My MR6 is one heck of a shooter but I wouldn't mind being back in a solo cam if it fits and feels right.

The creed is a single cam monster if it draws as good as my z7 xtreme I'd be amazed. I just love my z7 xtreme it's compact and is a great shooter but I'd like to shoot the creed and see how they compair

I have my older champion single cam bow and have never shot a mathews... and hope I don't until I have some money saved up, don't want to get spoiled. My current bow shoots good enough for me. But I would like to shoot a few mathews or other new bows and see how they feel.

It will be a night and day difference I promise you. When you start looking, don't limit yourself to one manufacturer. There are so many good ones.

As far as Mathews' new line up, I'm sure the Creed and Chill will both be big hits but neither appeal to me personally.

I love love love my mr-8. The chill looks nasty they fixed my only problem with the mr-8 which was the weight. I think the new chill is 3.6 pounds or something like that. The chill wet with the seven inch brace height though so you'll loose some forgiveness there.

Our store got a Chill demo in I shot 2 weeks ago and I must say it was REALLY smooth. It was about 10fps slower than my Helium but it was nice. Wish I had the $ to trade every year because everytime u buy a new one the very next yr they come out with another one u like better. Ive never been a speed seeker type of hunter. The smoother the better for me. I really have adapted to shooting my Helium really well. I am happy with it. I waited long enough for one comparable to the Xt to smoothness so I'll keep buying lottery tickets and hope I hit Publishers Clearing House while I shoot the one I bought.
