This has been my personal ATV for the last little bit.

The bad-
FULL DISCLOSURE- it started not wanting to start and acted like it had a governor on it limiting speed to 30mph. My mechanic did some work on it, not sure what, and it's running good but still acts weird starting sometimes. It will hesitate but generally start, when it doesn't I just plug the booster to it real quick. We put a new starter on it and the battery checks good. It has 3700 miles on it.

The good-
Plastics are good
Decent tires
Lights work
4wd works
Good seat

I'm not sure what to ask as it does what I need it to even if I have to boost sometimes.

Let's try $2000 obo

Ok, I have been riding it some today and it still feels like it is governed, it doesn't miss but just won't get above 30mph. I will let it go for $1500 if anyone wants it. It wouldn't be a good farm working or trail riding ATV maybe but would be just fine as a get to the stand and haul a deer out ATV.

If it doesn't sell I'm going to keep as a backup for my SxS.

Did you search online for solutions? Sounds like something electrical to me. Perhaps that metal regulator thing that helps the battery recharge, a fuse or a loose wire?

I bought an older Rubicon awhile back. It started having issues and I could not figure it out, so I sold at a loss. Of course we start messing with it when buyers showed up and discovered a loose wire connection. That seemed to fix it. They got a good deal and my headache disappeared.

Good luck with sale...looks in good shape!

Thanks man. Yeah, we checked a lot but no luck lol.

I'm like you and think it's probably something simple though.

@jlanecr500 can vouch for me though….I'm not very technical lol
