Of the scores last given to the score thread, here is how things wound out:

1. Team Alabama: 586.9375

2. VooDoo Mafia: 554.6325

3. Team MIA: 373.95

4. Run-N-Gunners: 286.93

5. Team Final Steps TC: 219.43

6. Longbeards Inc.: 136.2875

7. Team Beard Collectors: 136.13

So as you see, TEAM ALABAMA had a great spring season and took some exceptional birds! They are the 2014 LBI Winners. Congrats to them. If you will PM Final Steps TC and Ruger with your address so you can receive your plaque and TnDeer.com sticker. Be sure to let them know you were on the turkey contest winning team.

Also thanks to all who played in the contest. Thank you to all who paid the entry fee for charity.

Thanks grizz for running a good contest.

I hoped there would have been more participation. It always makes things more interesting. But I enjoyed it.

I suspect our "run" is about over roost1, we may retire from the sport of internet turkey competitions. Lol

I enjoy the friends and the competition but growing tired of all the pictures and stuff.

A plaque is not necassary, its just for fun. I would rather the money be put to good use.I think we enjoyed the ribbing as much as the hunts. I'm sure y'all did to. :)

Congrats, and thank you guys for putting this together. Do we know how much was actually raised?

If I remember correctly, it was between $200-$300 at the time of the vous.

Thanks for putting together a first class contest and allowing us to participate. I love the fact that this contest had a charity attached to it...... that was great.

This is exactly why my hunting buddy and I dropped out this year. We are picture freaks. We believe in capturing the memories. We will take pics in several locations on the property with different backgrounds to get the best shots. But, running to the truck to weigh a bird before he lost weight and taking all those measurement pics got tiresome. Good to se all that money raised for my favorite charity though. :)

Thanks Gizz for running the contest!!! Your time and effort is greatly appreciated on my be half. It's been fun and thoroughly enjoyed reading how everyone's season was playing out. I'm also glad to see a charity attached to the contest.

ouch!! No comeback :(

Thank you all for the words, however I was not alone nor was it my idea in the beginning.... I just volunteered to take on the lead. The people playing in the contest make the contest.... and raising money for charity just gives it more purpose.

Congrats to all who played and took birds this spring.... and thanks again for those that sent in the "optional" entry fee for charity.

Have a great summer all.

0-4

We're not too worried. The only Tennessee team we've ever seen hang is VDM and I've got a lot of respect for that. They have kept us on our toes every year.
