The SEC peaked a few years ago. To deny they had am 8-9 year run as the absolute best conference in the Nation is bonkers. Has the conference as a whole slipped, or have other conferences gotten better. That is certainly debatable.
 
Great thread! The tide is turning (no pun intended). Looks like the SEC is definitely in a tailspin. Next step is a death spiral in the bowl season.

If you consider ND an honorable ACC member in football (since ND is contractually obligated to play 5 ACC teams), then that makes 4 ACC teams in the Top 10 compared to only 1 for the lowly SEC. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
 
The SEC is definitely weaker. Most of it can be attributed to poor QB play.

I do have to mention though, how in the world did South Carolina beat North Carolina to give them their only loss :D ?

Yep. I believe the ACC championship game will be the best.
