The first person to get a factory trail cam picture of a 2015 Tennessee buck in hard antler wins a year of bragging rights and a free annual subscription to tndeer.

The winner will be the first to post a picture of a 2015 Tennessee buck in 100% hard antler in this thread. Picture must be posted in this thread and it must be a picture from a factory trail camera (pictures from home brew cams and handheld cams do not qualify). Pictures in which the buck may or may not be in 100% hard antler will be judged by a 3-man jury of your peers to determine if it should be declared the winner.

The picture must come from a trail cam that is owned by you or your immediate family (spouse and kids only). Do not attempt to sneak in a pic from your lease buddy's trail cam, or your brother's trail cam, or your father-in-law's trail cam, or your cousin's trail cam, and definitely do not attempt to use someone's picture from another site of some buck from another state. Authentication technology will be used to confirm that submitted photos are legit. This technology will catch attempts at plagiarism and the perpetrator will be branded a cheater and publicly humiliated in the tndeer general forum.

Good luck and may the best man win!

Good question. Cellular transmitted pics do not qualify. It must be a pic taken directly off the SDHC card. I have 2 cellular cams in TN, so I am hosing myself.

If a picture is suspected of having been transmitted from a cellular cam, the poster will be required to e-mail the picture to me so I can verify that the size of the file is large enough that it cannot possibly have been transmitted by a cellular cam.

That reminds me - taking a picture of a picture on your PC does not qualify! Sorry to be harsh, but I can't stand those. If you can't post the actual picture from the SDHC card, then you can't win. That said, you are allowed to solicit instructions on how to post trail cam pictures, but you must post it yourself!

Photobucket is fine, but the picture needs to be posted and visible right here in this thread.

I won't be back in TN to check my cams until Friday, which I think will be too late to win.

Check those cams, boys. The pressure is on! :pop:

Regretfully, we have no choice but to disqualify Eric for cheating. The authentication technology indicates that is not a picture of a 2015 TN buck. Hopefully Fireball wasn't involved in the posting of that picture.

If Eric happens to post what would otherwise be the winning picture, a jury of his tndeer peers will have to decide whether to pardon his illegal post and grant him victory in the hard antler challenge.

Better hurry guys....I will be in TN in 4 days to check my cams. My gut tells me there will be a hard horn 10-point on one of my cards!

I had a friend show me a picture of a buck that shed his velvet one day this past week here in Morgan county. Hopefully I will have pictures of some this week.

Sorry about the month being wrong.
Nice buck, Morgan county? What is date of pic? I can't be 8/31 because that is tomorrow. 59 degrees leads me to believe it was one day this past week when we had the cold front push through. I looked at the metadata of the photo and it said 7/31 as well, but I suspect that is linked to the date the user had set on the camera before deploying, and not an internal real world clock.

The picture was taken this morning. For some reason the camera set the date back a month and I have forgotten to change it back. There were pics last night at 10 pm where the velvet was starting to come off.

You said first hard horn trail can pic of 2015! Well here you go!!
