Less kick then some other center fire 22's, quitter, a little more powerful than a 22 mag rim fires. If you reload use very little powder. I like mine just a lot of fun.

Awesome round, quite accurate. I briefly thought about punching mine out to a K-Hornet, but thought better of it.
Brass is super thin and fragile, even if you are very careful you will crush some brass from time to time.
I use lil'gun powder for mine.

The 22 Hornet does what I always expected a 22 Magnum to do but wouldn't. 
Groundhogs never seemed to go down with authority with the 22 Mag but the Hornet hit with a lot more authority. I use H110 powder because I have a bunch of it, but LilGun will give some more velocity.
It's quiet, a can of powder lasts forever using only about 10 grains per shot. A great "walking around" varmint rifle.
