Anybody have any good fast loads for .257wby. im still trying to get a little more speed out of 100gr interlocks

3400 with reloader 22 and 100gr hornady interlocks id like to get closer to weatherby loads around 3700 with 100gr

i get 3400 from 25-06,,

77.1 grains of retumbo 110 accubond seated .010 off lands 3527 fps is what i load for a fella on here

.3 inch groups out of his weatherby mark 7 (i think that is his rifle)


i believe i loaded up to 77.7 to get 3600 but the groups opened up to like .6

I am shooting 73 grains of IMR 7828 behind a Barnes 100 grain TTSX for 3,590fps out of my Remington 700 CDL 257 Weatherby with a 26 inch barrel. It puts 3 shots in a bit under .6 inches at 100 yards. This load is from the IMR Powder website.

I also like 69 grains of IMR 7828 with the Speer 120 grain Grand Slam. I get about 3290 fps and about the same accuracy as the above load. Again this load is from the IMR Powder website.

Velocities were measured using a Chrony chronograph at about 10 ft from the muzzle.
