My first pull I was kind of disappointed since it had a total of 3 does in a couple hundred pics over about 3 weeks. Today I went out to restock my corn feeder and pull the photos and this time I have 3 bucks. Two are young spikes and the 3rd is a tall 4 point. I think he is fairly young as well. Also I got several photos of some turkeys.
Two spikes: (hope my neighbors leave them alone and let them grow)
4 point:
Only body shot of 4 point. Not sure if he can be aged from this picture. His neck looks thin in the previous pic, but appears to have a little belly here:
Milk and no fawns. My first pull had huge pregnant doe. I am guessing this is her, but out of 2K photos there wasn't a single fawn:
does: (or spikes may be this as well)
Nothing to hang on the wall, I am happy with what I pulled today. Now if I can get rid of the 4 or 5 raccoons eating the corn and the two dogs that passed through there. Man what a difference the corn feeder made after a few weeks.
Is the rule I can't have any corn in the feeder 10 days before hunting in that area right? I doubt I can fill it 10 days before.
Also what distance is considered "in the area" of the feeder? 200 yards?
