Got number 3 this am. Went to same spot i killed on wed and sat down at about 15 mins before daylight. I knew there were 2 other gobblers in the area. I guess i sat right under one of them because at daylight he go the heck out of there. I sat there and about 30 mins and hadnt heard anything and was fixing to make a move when i looked down the lane behind me and there stood the other swelled up like volkswagen at 200 yards. I soft called and started my way he had gotten to 100 yards when a hen flew down in the pines and here he went to to her. I jumped up and low crawled toward him and i figured i was 60 yards away and i sat down just as a turkey flew off. I figured i blew. Sat there 15 mins and blew my crow call and he answered from about sixty yards away. I gave some calls from the box call and 5 mins later he was 48.5 yards away and the nitros did the rest. 19lbs - 10 inch beard - 7/8 spurs. unbelievable.
