I hear ya there , If I'm shooting a fairly shot up target I'm usually really close to most of them . The hard part for me in 3-d is shooting at a spot you can't see , I guess that's where target knowledge comes in handy . Also impressive to me, was the guy that shot at and hit the baseball at 200 yards with his bow. I think he had to do the same thing; install a different peep for shooting long distance. It may even be the same guy; been a while since I saw the baseball one. I probably couldn't do either of those shots. I would try but probably not gonna get it. I can't even hit half the targets in the 12 rings at a max of just 40 yards.
