anybody ever had any hands on with this round,,

I have 1,000 pieces of Speer once fired brass,,and 1,000 CCI primers

I know I need jacketed bullets for the Glock but any good combos ??

more than likely 124 gr xtp or Speer Gold Dot bullets

My load is 9.0 gr of H Longshot and Rem 1.5 small pistol primer with 124gr Rem jacketed HP. The case headspaces off the case mouth (not the shoulder) so case length is critical. Any variation in case lengths will cause reliability issues. The XD's i have loaded for all take the .860" case length reliably and accurately. For me the Glocks have required a little more work. Some have been finicky for the case length. I have seen a few Glocks that actually have performed better when trimmed below the book stated trim length and a couple that required cases to be slightly over. I would start with a few at .860" to test reliability. If that works, then trim the rest accordingly. Otherwise you may have to make very small adjustment to the case and try again. I use a light taper crimp. Too much crimp and you will have headspace issues as well. So be sure to check your crimp and keep it the same if your having to test several lots.

I would not use the 40 case to form 357 sig brass. You will end up with a case that is about .020" too short. And since the round headspaces off the case mouth, you may have serious headspace issues.

no,,I was just sayin how they designed it,,

I have 1,000 pieces of brass that was Speer GDHP factory ammo fired from a Sig pistol indoors.
I was hoping to use my brothers Dillon progressive press,,but if it is gonna require lube I will load them one at a time.

I just had rotator cuff redone and gonna be home a while,,

I have all my other stuff loaded to the max except about 200 5,56 cases

I need to start on this,,I have had this stuff for a year and have thought about gettin a match .40 bbl for the G32 but from all the self defence stuff I have read the .357 is what I am gonna load.

I wish they had used the longer 10mm case for more powder capacity, but then again its plenty fast the way it is.

They do. It is called a 9X25 Dillon and its a real screamer.
I never have been real impressed with the 9x25, but then again I shoot a 10mm, nothing compares to that in a semi auto.

Carbide pistol dies will not require lubeon cleaned cases.

Glocks have a generous chamber and tend to be less fussy about relaods than the XD. As a last stage on the progessive press, pass it through the Lee factory crimp die. You can adjust this die with a reliable (in your gun) factory cartridge. In this final stage it will ensure that the reloads match the factory round to insure reliable functioning.

On the first reloid made check and make sure that the glock will chamber the round properly before making the other 999. If not further adjustkment might be required.

Not having the dillon carbide does does complicate the procedure. As I see it you have a couple options.

You could lube and run the entire batch of brass though the sizing die and run them through the tumbler. Then progessive load the remaining steps.

or maybe.

You could try a .40 S&W carbide sizing die first, then the .357 sig steel die and neck size only. Not sure how this would work but in theory it might.
