They are about done where we hunt but i did luck up on a bird saturday.That was my third bird in three days of hunting this year and with 3 different chokes and two different shells.I would have used another gun also but that shur shot stock is so nice 
this bird was with another one and they gobbled hard and stayed in a field.I crawled up to the field but he had went back into the woods at the far end.They split up and I didn't know.I cutt and one of them gobbled 30 yards behind me.i couldn't see 10 yards that way.I sat and waited.Called and he gobbled from same place.I waited like 7-8 minutes and finally decided to crawl 10 yards to a tree andraise up and shoot him.
The plan worked great other than him being a hard gobbling full fan jake
I wasn't too upset.It was fun and if they want to gobble like a long beard I will usually shoot them anyway.
I think its time to try some public east tn land I haven't ever hunted and get ready for my oak ridge draw hunt
