3rd bird on the ground 9am this morning.

Man this bird came in ready to whoop that tom decoy behind, second gobbler was in a bad spot, I tryed to wait long enuff for cuz to get on the next one for 3 time double, but I had to shoot cause he was getting way out there. I pulled the trigger and he piled up. Cuz couldn't get on the other bird.

I shoot a 870 express in a 3" magnum, I stepped off 53 steps to were the bird was shot, hard to believe so I counted it again.

25 lbs 10.1/2" beard and 1.1/8 ivory colored spurs

Do you hunt close to Greenfield ? I hunt around Martin were I was born and raised, takes me about 1 1/2 hr's to get there but it's an every weekend trip when season is open. Good luck on the fourth !!
