Plenty to the story, got stuff to do before bed, so I will save that for later and let the video tell the story when I upload it in the next couple days.
Ultra short version, hunted from 5am-6:40pm when I pulled the trigger on this bird. After another guy shot a double beard on same oak flat at 7:30 in the morning. Hunted with bigasports in the morning and by myself in the afternoon. Well worth the long day jumping around to different spots.
18 lbs 7 oz 8" beard and 3 smaller beards and 2 year old spurs
Gobbled only twice, drummed some and finally showed up slowly but surely and made a long shot pushing 40 yards. Like I said I will let the video tell the whole story when I get it done in a couple days.
