I'm getting worried. I got 3 trail cams out on our hottest spots...have had them out 2 weeks and 0 deer on them. Ain't even seen many driving in the evenings. Almost like a small die off has occurred here. Either that or they've went underground lol
Last year we had some good temps the first weekend here and some great temps the second weekend (low of 40 and 36). It was 52 degrees here last year on opening day of bow (Sep. 24), and it appears it will be about 57 this opening morning in our neck of the woods. It was 59 for a low in 2010 on the opener (Sep. 25). I have hunted several opening days with the low around 68-74 and highs near 90. Those are the temps I despise for bow season, thus I am thankful for anything in the 50s and will gladly welcome anything cooler.
