My oldest daughter killed her 4th longboard in 4 juvi hunts. I'd like to say it was all me but it was just persistence. Too hard headed to go home. She killed at 12:50. Never heard a single gobble. Finally got a flock of about 30 hens fussing with me. I knew a longbeard had to be close. Finally spotted him behind us. After a Chinese fire drill of getting her turned 180 degrees she couldn't see the circle in the eotech. Had to adjust brightness but finally got it. She shots him at 44 yards. He collapsed. 20 gauge Remington 1187 compact with Tru glo choke and apex tss. Bad news I'll tell u. 19 lb 15 oz. 11 1/4 beard. 1 1/4 spurs. God smiled on us again.... she also raised 2296 $ for st Jude during the hunt. Very proud of her.
