5-pin Sight?

I am looking at getting a new sight too. There are sooooo many I like that I think it is going to come down to how much $$$ I want to spend. I know I want a 3 pin(.10 or .19) and very lite weight. I don't care for knobs or anthing that protrudes off the sight because if it can snap on something then I will do just that. Here are some that I have been checking out. lol, still don't know what I want.
Truglo Micro-Brite FB 3pin
Sure Loc QC 1 200 Sight
Trophy Ridge Alpha V3 Micro, 3 Pin
Axcel Armortech Sight, 4 Pin
Copper John Dead Nuts Mark 3 Sight
Apex Bone Collector Sight

I just bought the apex bone collector today an the way the light goes in to give there pins the brightness is sweet. I would suggest that one or the tru glo.

Trophy ridge is good but I may try the apex mathews sight. I have had a HHA infringer adjudtable sight for years. I would not recommend one of those.

lol, I listed these:
Truglo Micro-Brite FB 3pin
Sure Loc QC 1 200 Sight
Trophy Ridge Alpha V3 Micro, 3 Pin
Axcel Armortech Sight, 4 Pin
Copper John Dead Nuts Mark 3 Sight
Apex Bone Collector Sight

But ended up getting a Viper Predator Pro 2000. I won't put it on till the season ends so I can't say if I like shooting with it any time soon.

Black Gold makes the best sights with the brightest pins.
So you will buy my next sight(expensive SpotHogg) if I am not 100% happy with a Black Gold sight?

lol, J/P

Why do you need 5 pins for hunting? Or is this for 3D?

I have 3 pins and they almost block my sight picture too much.
20/30/40yd I took the 4th pin out since I wont shoot past 30 yds.

Thinking of taking my 40yd pin out but that is where my hindsight is lined up.

Just my .02 but I went to a single pin sight this year and will never look back. Once you find the optimum distance for your set up where the arrow will hit in the vitals from 10-30 yards you are set! I have mine locked down at 25 yards and I can hold my pin out to 30 yards without missing the vitals. Anything past 30 yards requires a little bit of hold over but with practice you are good out to 40 yards. Very little clutter in the sight picture and great for target shooting specific distances since a lot of them can be adjusted.

Not to steal his post but just hunting for me. The Viper predator is a 4 pin. I am hoping to take one pin/fiber out without ruining it and keep it for a spare. My setup shoots flat out to about 27 yrds so I shoot 25, 35, and 45 yrd pins.

I only have 4 pins set. 20, 40, 50, and 60. I will never use the 50 or 60, unless I try to hunt squirrels with it. The 5th is a "hail mary" when practicing.

For a 30 yard shot I hold up about an inch or try to get it between the 20 and 40 pins.

Slinging Victory arrows 300 fps.
