What yardage would yet set each pin for on a 5-pin sight? I set the first 3 pins at 10, 20 and 30 yds and they are pretty close to each other. I am shooting really well out to 30 yds and am ready to start shooting farther. Would you do the last 2 pins at 40 and 50 yds or 35 and 40 yds or what?

I set my 5 pins at 20-30-40-50-60. I honestly don't think you will need a 10 yard pin. Most bows shoot fast enough that there is hardly any difference at those yardage.

I had a 5 pin sight once and also a peep....i got rid of the peep and shoot 2 pins....could shoot 1 if i wanted.....out to 70 yards

I love my ANCHOR SIGHT....

Im more consistent now

I got 1 pin set at 20 yards

so far I have kilt only 4 deer that way but they were at 13, 15, 5, and 7 yards respectively.

i have a copper johns dead nut pro hunter 2 5 pin site its set 10-50 because were i hunt u will rarely get anything farther then 30 let alone 50 but ive practiced at farther distances just in case!

I just have a 3 pin sight. I shoot one out to 30 yards. The second is for 35 to 40 yards. The 3rd pin I don't use, cause I don't feel comfortable shooting past 40. If you have a flat shooting bow I don't see a need for 3 pins to get you out to 30 yards.

I have a four-pin sight and they are set at 20, 30, 40 and 50. Due to my heavy arrow weight, I have too much drop between 20-30-40 to feel comfortable in possible rush situations to mentally adjust the pin for the calculated drop differenceI would rather put a selected pin on the target and focus on making a good shot, rather than take some of that focus on how high/low to hold. All that being said, my longest shot ever has been 28 yards.

Shooting an 09 PSE X-force I am slet 20-60 in 10 yard increments roughly.

I like it, but am looking towards going to a sight with a floating/adjustable pin/pins. It will make holding dead on at longer between yardages possible. I like the thought of that.

Again, my farthest shot on a deer this year is 36 yards. So it is probably a mute point.
