Until yesterday all of F$U Nation thought Manuel was a lock. Some even thought he was a silent commit. I guess playing at IGM and coached by former F$U player Chris Weinke gave F$U Nation false hope.

Last night he listed his top 3 (UF, LSU, and Aub). All three SEC schools so it looks like the kid is getting good advise. Considering that he's not on social media and his aunt and uncle are helping him through the process.

The F$U fans are blowing up the expert (Josh Newberg) on the F$U Board about Manuel bailing on F$U. Rumor has it that the kid didn't like the way F$U tried to get him to commit.... :)

If you don't want to play for FSU ,hit the road. Not all are sure they want to compete.
I don't think anyone knows where he's going including himself which is the feeling I just took away from the recent article and quotes I just read from him on the Warchant homepage. He says he's an SEC guy now but what if UF goes 4 & 7, AU goes 6 & 5, and LSU goes 5 & 6 and not 1 SEC team makes the playoffs this year like there own beloved Finebaum says he sees happening? At that point he could find himself an ACC guy if we go 9 & 2 or 11 & 0 real quick. My point is it's early and there's a lot of time and a long season between now and Feb. These are 18 year old kids and 1 game could change there mind. He may go into our game with UF this year favoring them but if we pound them on there own turf with him standing on the sidelines he may flip right back. I think this time of year is important with camps and visits but I think half way through the season through signing day is when the truth starts to show. I can think of many guys like Cook, Lane, etc that were committed to other schools that were wowed through the season and it made a huge impact on there decisions. UF will get a few players but mostly the ones that have the #1 concern of playing early and not having to compete with the best to get on the field like they will here at FSU. Manuel is a good recruit but FSU will be just fine if he decides on 1 of the 3 he mentioned. Get on the Nole train or get ran over, we want the Ramsey's & Taylor's that want to be Noles and earn there time. One things for sure it can't be the recent off the field issues we've had cause lord knows all 3 of those have had there share for sure. Also ,lets not forget about the cost of attendance money. Could be micro managed by the SEC.

Recent articles that I read that where wrote last night and this morning has him telling the press that his top 3 are UF, LSU, and AUB. Pretty simple since they are 3 SEC schools that put D-Linemen in the NFL.

The FSU board is in panic.... :rotf: :rotf:

Not really.Way to early for that.. FSU put close to 40 people in the NFL the last 3 years alone. Also D linemen. :tu: Believe FSU set a record.
