and I didn't hear the first gobble this morning, only saw one bird (running away), and covered some of the most rediculaous mountain terrain that I may never care to hunt again. I'm getting pretty burned out on turkey hunting at this point. Way too much time and effort and the birds just ain't there. I sure wish I could afford my own property or a lease around here with some deer and turkey on it, or that I could keep them on anyway...just wanted to vent a little. I'm thankful I've got good enough health to be able to walk the way I've been walking and at least get out there and try. It just gets frusterating as he!! when you put so much into it and can't make it happen.
