Now a 3 loss Clemson who just lost to the 4th possibly 5th Best SEC team in week 12 can get a bye lol.

I think smu will be clemson. Miami will probably be left out now.

So Miami will fall all the way out with mutiple losses to unranked teams. Zero chip appearance.
If Clemson wins we will have a 3 loss ACC champ with a bye. Does SMU then fall out because they picked up a 2nd loss in a chip game? Or do they both stay in.... if Clemson gets beat they are 100% out. The ACC will raise hell if they put a 9-3 South Carolina or Bama that didn't go to a conference chip over a 11-2 SMU that did.

Need to get rid of the automatic bids and try to get the 12 best teams. All wins are not equal and all losses are not equal.
It's reminding me of what we tried to get away from when the playoffs first started
