got all set up with 2 toms wearin it out on the roost, long story short the toms split up and about 20 min in here he comes out in the field he sees the decoys..b-mobile strutter over a breeding hen...he stops struts, stops, gobbles, struts in the same place he wouldnt come any closer,at first i didnt call i didnt want him to pin point me after 20 min of this i decided to call, and he just sat there gobbling...same series of strutting gobbling..then he just walzted off i can only guess someone has shot at him over this set up before..... :( lucky me !!!

He might not have been a dominant bird, with my experiences normally if a bird is alone and is a young bird they want nothing to do with a decoy, an older bird will normally come in to fight

could be easy, but ever time i have used this they always come running alone or not...and i know im gonna get kicked for this but...i dont have a choke in my gun nor have i ever used one never really needed to,and i would rather not shoot at one than to wound it and it fly off..but if the hunter nxt door dont wipe all these toms off the map before i get back in there,im gonna go for another set up....
