going at this different from some ideas I get from Snipershide,,I am gonna try and get on an accuracy node a level 2-3 grs below max so I can have a load I can depend on no matter how hot it is or whatever,,

working with Varget first for its temp stability qualities,,from these 10 shots at 300 yards I am going to load about 25 rounds to check for speed and accuracy with 42 grs Varget and the 175 SMK in Lapua brass and CCI 200 primers,,

rifle is glass bedded in the HS stock with Jewell trigger at about 1.5 lbs and the 4.5-14 LR M1 in Burris XTR rings with 0 taper base I have 65 MOA lwft on the knobs from 300 yard zero,,

loaded 5 more with 42 grs Varget and 175 SMK CCI 200 primers and lapua brass,

shot at 100 yards,,2 inch diamonds and 1 inch square grid on target,,

I am starting to like this concrete bench

ordered bottom metal one five and one ten round AI mag and Atlas bipod,,next time I get caught up I am gonna have it fitted with Redfield Palma sights and a brake,,recoil isnt bad but I shoot by myself a lot and need to be able to spot my own shots.

chronied 10 rounds and get 2595 with ES at 15 an SD 8,,I could load up to the next accurate load at 45.2 and get 2710 but it isnt hardly as accurate and brass life and functionality would suffer,,and dialing in another 3.5 MOA at 1,000 yards isnt a big deal to me,,

hope to bang some steel tomorrow,,,,,,,,
