81 yard kill!

I remember when birds that wouldn't come closer than 40 yards were considered "hung up" and were hunted another day. But I also remember when 100 yards was a long shot with a muzzleloader. My son and i passed up 65 yard wide open shot on a double earlier this season. Still working on those same two birds for that opportunity. No regrets for passing the shot.

IF it's true, then I'm glad he got him but would not ever try that long of a shot myself!
The fun is seeing how close you can get them in!

First bird I ever killed was at 3 FEET!!! Completely severed his head from his body. Total luck to even hit the bird that close, though. I actually missed one at around 3 yards a few years back.

Anyone that shoots at turkeys that far, knowing full and well that their gun doesnt pattern well enough for a clean kill, should be banned from hunting all together.

I saw a man kill an antelope with a bow at 93yds, laser ranged. I should also note that he was an Olympic archer and had set up to kill this particular antelope. He practiced the shot for an entire day before killing the animal. If it was that guy, shooting a bow, I could believe it. But it wasnt, so I dont.

wow, not sure why you take one that far but impressive non the less. Killed alot of birds in the past years but the furthest was 42 yds. didnt feel the need to shoot any further then that. Didnt really want to take that one but had to in the setting.

i like them CLOSE!!! lol i have killed 80% of my birds at less then 20yds.
