thanks guys, i shot her again today and got 371 in the twenty inch circle. i believe i better stop tinkering while im a head and still have a little money for gas

Nice patterns there. I suspect you will be just as pleased, if not more, with the devastating killing power of those Mag Blends. I was pleasantly surprised with them last year. Best of luck!!

cool, i bought a box to try in my stoeger but have not had a chance to shoot them yet. will post some pics when i do (hopefully this weekend.) i also have some #7 and a few Xtended range #6 to try with my new IC choke.

Last year my buddy and I both bought an IC .665 choke for our Rem 870 SP with 23" barrel to try out. Last year I also decided to switch shells from 3.5" Win HV #4s (which I had shot 10+ years) to 3.5" Nitros H517T (4X5X7) and 3.5" Hevi-13 Magnum Blends, but he was going to continue shooting 3.5" Win Ext Range #5s as he always had. After a couple of afternoons at the range and some very sore cheek bones, I decided to stick with my IC .665 choke because the patterns were amazing with my new shells of choice and considerably better than my Kicks GT .670 that I had been shooting with 3.5" Win HV #4s. He on the other hand took his IC .665 choke back and got his money back strictly because it did not improve his pattern density or pellet count with the Win Extended Range #5s. His Kick's GT .665 shot just as good if not better with his shell of choice. We shot numerous shells at 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards. Just sharing some observations here based our days in the field with the same model/make gun, but various choke/load combinations.

thanks Andy....i will stick with it regardless unless it is for some reason really bad. i basically got it as a straight swap for my Jelly Head so it is the only choke i have at the time. As long as it is putting 150 in a 10" then It will stay in the gun for this season.
