I spoke with a HEVI-Shot employee this week about the percentage of shot (5X6X7) in each Mag Blend shell. She stated Mag Blends consisted of 1/3 of each pellet size based on weight. I did a quick back of the napkin calculation just now for the 3" 2 ounce load and got 97 #5s, 128 #6s and 170 #7s for a grand total of 395 pellets headed down range. With 213 pellets in your circle, you managed 54%; that is a darn good pattern density for 40 yards. My next suggestion would be to shoot it at 10, 20 and 30 so you know what your gun is doing.

Did you have to do it so fast :D Now I feel even worse :(
Thanks
You are more than welcome but let me tell you that you are giving me WAY more credit than I deserve, I promise. I already had the numbers computed and stored on my computer for future reference so if I wanted to know or someone else wanted to know I could retrieve it quick. I wish I could have done it that fast. Glad to help out.
