UGA's roster is compiled of over 68% freshmen and sophomores. They are very talented but lack experience, and more importantly, the solid veteran leadership that was afforded last season with Chubb, Michel, Carter, Bellamy, and several others. So far they have issues with the following:

Offensive line- for all of the size and depth that they have, they aren't playing like a cohesive unit
Running back- didn't think that I'd say this at the beginning of the season, but no one has really stepped up; and all of them go down at first contact
Defensive line- this seems to be a position of experience, but not the best talent or depth
Linebacker- lots of bodies and talent, but no one has really stepped up to be "the dog" yet

Fromm isn't playing quite as awesome as I had expected, but part of that Saturday came from normally sure-handed receivers dropping the ball or not giving full effort on routes.

It's almost like there is so much talent that they are expecting everything to just work out instead of MAKING things work out, and that is where the lack of upperclassmen leadership hurts. I hope that the team works past this, and I really think that they can, but if not then it could easily lead to a couple of losses.

Are we suppose to feel sorry for you :D ?

You guys are loaded. The experience will come. You may have a let down or two his year, but I doubt it. KY game could be a good game, and FL might hang for a while.

It will be interesting to see how the playoff shakes out if you win out, but lose the SEC Champ game. You better hope for an Ohio St and Notre Dame loss or two.

Not expecting sympathy at all. I've said before that I'm a UGA fan, but not a smack talker. I call a spade a spade. We are NOT as good as many think we are. LSU, UF, Auburn, and KY all in a row will be tough...

But then again, I don't really see many teams that I would say are top notch teams this season, either. I'm not impressed with media darlings tOSU or Notre Dame, I really feel that LSU is an Orgeron-coached mirage, Clemson hasn't impressed me... so I guess that it's anyones game to get beat by Alabama in the Championship.
