AA Lithium Batteries - Deal Alert

Sam's has 18 packs of Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries now for $19.98.

Yes, you can buy larger quantities for a little less off the internet,
but for a retail store in TN, this is the cheapest I've seen them.

Last year, believe they were about this same price for a 12-pack,
so now you get 50% more batteries.

In cooler weather, most trail cams perform better and more reliably with lithium batteries.

And, they will typically last a minimum of twice as long as the top alkalines and/or rechargeable batteries
before needing replaced/exchanged for new batteries.

Factoring in needing to change the batteries less often,
this helps off-set the higher cost of lithiums.

Thanks for the heads up. For the "Ultimate" lithiums (L91), that is as good a price ($1.21/battery) as you will find anywhere.

For the sake of those never having used the lithiums in their cameras.... Yes, they are more expensive on the front end. However, they'll run your cameras all deer season long. They eliminate the worry or inconvenience of checking your cameras only to find the batteries died and then having to replace them half way through the season. That to me, makes them cheaper in the long run.

Mike, I totally agree with you.
They also simply "work better", period.

And hard to put a "price" on not needing to check your cams as often,
hard to put a price on the value of a cam that's working vs. one with dead batteries.

I bought off the internet not long ago. 100 sold for about $1.39/battery and that was the cheapest I had found them.

Current Sam's deal is about 95 cents per battery,
although with TN sales tax @ 9.25%,
that runs it up to about $1.03 per battery.
