I just sent in everything for 4 lbs. They are giving $35 per pound. I had not used any of mine and they showed no signs of breakdown. I talked to Accurate yesterday. They have over 100,000 lbs of powder to recall. They give you a recall number that you put with the lot numbers and send back with a picture after you fill out a form they send you. Very simple process.

I've been meaning to check my stash, I am sure I have some but haven't reloaded in some time so haven't checked. Do they offer replacement powder or do they just send a check?

Just a refund check. They require you to destroy the unused portion of powder you may have. It's supposedly very volatile, and can begin to "work" on it's own and eventually explode. Apparently the process used to make it had a flaw of some sort, and the shelf life had been extremely shortened, by years, and it can deteriorate and become volatile and explode. They have added more powder to their list, so I would recommend everyone check their inventory to see if they have any on the list.

I believe the problem is too much Nitro. Are all the Accurate powders extruded double base?

I don't know Dave. Never thought there'd be an instance of too much nitro in anything tho, ever.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't use much of their powder, but do have a few pounds of AA2015 and AA1680 on hand. I didn't see those on the list, unless I missed something.
