ethical is debatable, however the LUCK factor is not. that is just not a distance a turkey pattern is intended for most of the time. Wind, temps, pressure and view of site are all obstacles at that distance. A shot pattern starts to deteriorate QUICK after 40yds so to expect a high percentage of those types of shots to equal success is just not justified.

you are 3 for 3 which is great but you WILL miss more then a few at that range over time if you keep shooting it. that is where the ethical debate comes into play. if you are taking a low percentage shot over and over expecting high percentage results people will look at that as unethical.

I personally dont care and i am not one to judge how you hunt but you have to see the logic there from somes mind. once you get out that far distance becomes very blurred so a 60yd shot can turn into an 80yd shot pretty easily.

Did you pattern your gun to shoot that far? what set up are you using choke/ammo wise?  Me personally like them close so if 60 is all he will come in i will just try and chase him another day. The actual KILL part is not the part i covet the most these days but that is just my own style, again not judging yours in anyway.
