Where i hunt is mostly hunt large pines with not much underbrush.  Birds can see along way.  I havent kept up with how many i have shot at what range.  The 4 i shot last year were 28 yards,  51 yards, 58 yards, and 61 yards.  I did miss one that i walked around a bend on and had a snap shot which i misjudged the yardage and he was too far.  Any bird i have shot at inside 60 yards where i am set up make sure of my aim dies.  I have the utmost confidence of shooting any bird inside 60.
