Did anyone else hunt out there this morning?

I did, and was very disappointed. I guess me and my wifes cousin walked at least 3 miles round trip and didn't even hear one. Not even hens. NOTHING!

For the last 2 weeks I've drove out to where we hunted to listen and haven't been hearing any, but I've watched them cross the road several times now (15-20 birds at a time) in that area before roost so I figured they would be in there. They had scratched up every other leaf we walked over it seemed like, but didn't see or hear a thing. We hunted until 10 or so and got outa there. I know they're using the area, but maybe it's a better evening spot .

BTW, I only heard 3 shots all morning as well. Usually it sounds like a war zone at the crack of dawn. Who knows
