aftermarket sights

picked up another 835 the other day and it has the junk factory sights on it. I am not a red dot guy and prefer the fiber optic sights so I went to try and buy the same kind that is on my other 835 and they no longer make them.

what do you guys use??

I also prefer fiber optic over a scope, etc.

I have used a set of Williams Fire Sight, and they have worked well.

I have used a TRUGLO Pro Series Magnum Gobble Dot sight over the last ten years and it has held up well. $50 or so at most places.

I have used a TRUGLO Pro Series Magnum Gobble Dot sight over the last ten years and it has held up well. $50 or so at most places.

Those actually look better than the Fire Sights. The fire sights are a pain to screw onto the rib.

Thanks for the info guys, I just ordered a set of the TRUGLO sights for the same reason you said PalsPal. The Williams sights had some reviews of guys saying they were pain in the neck to get on the rib. Appreciate it fellas.

I had both and liked the tru glow better. The Williams sights were a chore to mount. Then my eyes got old and I went to an eotech. It's pretty awesome.

I went ahead and ordered one of these. The reason I need a new one is my tru-glo came up missing the fiberoptic for the rear section yesterday. Not well made IMO.

Call TRUGLO, they will send you as many replacement fibers as you need. I've had to replace the front fiber once in ten years and they sent me enough to replace it ten times, if need be.
