i really think he is a rut-worn three year old myself. lot of muscle from the front????

I think how this buck has his left back leg kicked back makes his hams appear less muscular and full than they really are, which gives the appearance of a 2.5 year old. I would put him at 3.5.

Could be either 2 1/2 or 3 1/2, but with just those two pictures to go from, I would lean towards 3 1/2.
