it's woods habitat without very many fields at all and the woods are very thick so hunting is tough. In a lot of the county, he wouldn't make it through season because a spotlighter would get him. Not the best time for aging, but I believe this is a very top-end young buck, possibly as young as 2 1/2. He also looks very healthy and well-fed, which sometimes can make a 2 1/2 present much like a 3 1/2.
My best guess is he's 3 1/2, and a very top-end 3 1/2 at that.
I believe he'll add a huge amount of antler mass to what he already has when he grows his next set this summer.
How do you think he was able to survive the 2015 deer season?
