I agree.
And also agree and understand this very well. 
When an opportunity to kill a particular buck presents, if I have to "think" much about it, then I don't worry too much about passing him up if that's what I did at the moment. On these situations, satisfaction is great just in having the opportunity and believing you "could have" had you so chosen. Not to mention, either someone else will enjoy their opportunity later (whether they kill him or let him walk), or you may get more opportunity later, possibly a year later when he's even better. Nothing wrong with "passing it on".
