Anyone think since we really haven't had a cold winter,the birds will start Gobblin and doin there thing earlier?
 
NOPE, from a biological stand point temp has nothing to do with mating. Gobbling may be impacted but actual mating and the start of the mating process is controlled my length of day and angle of the sun.
 
day length will have 90 percent of the impact. But what I think will happen is insects will be out earlier, with less hard freezes, and an earlier greening up, so the hens will move into their spring feeding patterns earlier, and the big boys will follow. So I think you'll see an earlier difference in activity, just not gobbling/breeding
